About PhotoUnfade

PhotoUnfade started with a shoebox. Like many families, we inherited a box of prints from grandparents — yellowed, creased, some with faces fading beyond recognition. The local photo shop quoted hundreds of dollars to restore a fraction of them. The big phone apps "fixed" the damage but quietly repainted our grandmother's face into someone else's.

So we built the tool we wished existed: AI restoration that repairs the damage and leaves the people alone.
